I saw a deal where they used coat hangers as speaker cables and then like a $300 "muh toanz!" Type cable and did blind tests with these audiophile types and some majority percentage chose the coat hanger as the best toanz. That shit is hilarious. Wish I could find it again.

I had a Jaguar once. It felt like I was rocking out on an ironing board.
I have a new Telecaster now. My brother-in-law asked me what sort of pickups it had and my answer was "ones that make a guitar sound come out the amp". It sounds great. I have no idea what other pickups do or why I would replace the ones that work.
The digital/analog debate is for people who only go see bands in bars that play guitar solos and nothing else, while sports plays on 15 screens around the room.
I've been playing guitar for 25 years, know nothing about guitars, and have sold more albums than you.

I will say replacing the pickups in my Tele was a 10/10 move and I now have so much more sonic versatility.

It's almost as if pedals, amps and guitars are tools to create sound, and people have different ideas of what sounds they want to create...
Maybe focus less on minute details of sound production, and more on producing sounds you like?

I think everyone comes from different backgrounds of playing guitar, and maybe my questions don’t apply to you. Some of you said you go digital and again I’m not bashing that. Some of you may focus on different aspects of the Guitar, mine is my tone first and pedals after. I’ve had tons of pedals that have affectedit in a negative way so yeah not all my opinions you’ll agree with. I was simply asking what your thoughts were, yes it’s my opinion that Jazzmasters bridges suck, it’s my opinion Duncan pickups are sterile, that’s not why I’m asking you, I’m asking your theory behind what you do and why you do it, not what’s better or worse, yeah add your opinion on what’s better or worse but as community of “gear nerds” I’d think you’d talk about why or why you don’t do certain things on your rigs, but hey maybe I’m wrong maybe asking why you put a pedal before another one is too personal or why you don’t care if your dry signal is effected by digital, maybe some of you don’t hear that or maybe it’s that you don’t care enough to hear it and I’m not bashing that either...

The real real answer is don't buy anything and just listen to music on your mind.

Signal bleed is a bypass issue, not an analogue/digital issue.
Steak is gross because it bleeds. It must be digital.
