my experience with feedback loops (tbd) is that more often than not the most "boring" pedals sound the most interesting in the feedback loop. and on the other hand the most interesting pedals sound the most bland in the feedback loop. this is not always the case obviously but a lot o ftimes ill be like " oh wow this pedal sounds awesome by itself! i bet it would sound even better in my FB loop!", then i go and try it and be disaapointed. other times ill be like "man this pedal sucks" then ill go throw it in the feedback loop and be like :omg: :omg:   :thumb:   :?: :?:

just my 2cent

on that note, i cannot wait to get my utt stutt and start freakin the shit out of my pedals, friends, cohorts and neighbors!! (hopefully tomorrow, BK to philly aint that far right?)

No need to apologize. To each their own.

Just one question for Lawrence though, what's your favorite pedal combination to use with the Utter Stutter?

just to jump in on the boss thing here:

the ps-3 is amazing. listen to health or the liars "drum's not dead". it's the ps-3 on EVERYTHING. and those are 2 bands that sounds like no one else.

i could never pick a favorite with the utter stutter but for some reason the boss metal zone (a pedal i don't really use often on it's own) has really really captivated me. playing with it at slow rates in time is cool because your chords will come in and out like sunlight thru clouds.

Hey Lawrence!

That's gotta be the coolest demo video I've ever seen! The way the cartoons and scenes play in the pedal when it's on... geeez that's cool. Did you guys go to that Skywalker Ranch place to have it made?

Awesome pedal!

Wish I'd seen the Utter Stutter in time  Very cool sounding effect!

Totally agree with the esteemed Dr Sherman Sticks, MD too. My incredibly humble cheap fourth-or-fifth-hand beat up Washburn analog delay works great with my Devi Ever EoG, while the much better DOD 680 just doesn't fly with it... :idk:

This is an awesome idea, and I hope that I'm able to jump on it next batch. Now I just gotta make sure this job thing follows through :grumpy:

first off let me start by saying that i suck at describing sounds and shit, so i apologize in advance.

had two sessions with the utt stutt today and yesterday...although yesterday was very experimental and not much music making. actually made a few beats today. http://www.ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=150&t=5910 <-----sound files posted here

tried a disaster fuzz, geiger counter, 05 boost (then the battery died like 5 seconds later although the dying battery sounds were pretty cool), behringer digi delay and analog delay.

favorite is the geiger counter thus far, although i need to experiment with more.
with the rate knob all the way up, the sound almost doesn't sound bit crushed at all. then as u roll the rate back, the sound morphs into the sound you have dialed in on the GC. also gets all glitchy and choppy. kinda reminds me of freakin the lofi and ring mod on my sp404. i love that shit.

oh the DF was really cool, i jammed on the oscillation and on some notes it would all arpeggiate really crazy, like a scrambled mess. dunno if this was the oscillations or the utt or a combo, but the sound put a smile on my face

really looking forward to experimenting more with this lil guy, it made me very happy thus far, and how could it not with a smiling face like that staring me down!
