Isn't JHS about as spiritual as a used car salesman? I recall reading that in addition to sluicing profits in an evangelical direction they are smarmy and will gladly screw you as far as the letter of the law will allow, unless of course you're a card carrying member of their blow job circle.
Of course, I'm paraphrasing here as I have no first hand experience and have only my memory of pages upon pages of threads on the matter. I'm just bummed because someone beat me to the BJ mode observation.

I wonder if the "-2" is a nod to having added the third knob from an LS-2.

For definitions of "white metal", refer to Underoath.
Then refer to why they stopped using that term.
LOL'd hard

Yeah I don't think that's a stretch at all... I may sound like a cynical asshole, but I don't think I'm unreasonable having the opinion that the vast majority of people in evangelical leadership positions are completely untrustworthy hucksters.
Side note: is Stryper still around? I am disappointed that there is no white metal signature model from JHS. They're truly not living up to their godly potential.

The thing that excites me about this pedal is that for the FIRST TIME, Boss have used the letter "J" on a pedal.
Yes, that's right! For years I've had a font called "Toss" that mimics the Boss pedal text but until the "J" character was guesswork.
Here's the glyphs in the font:
Looks like the the font designer was pretty close. One mystery solved.

It's a combination of a JHS
Angry Charlie and a BOSS Blues
Driver. Just in case that you didn't read that before.

But if Boss is willing to work with folks, that's a good thing.
They've released like 2-3 pedals with Fender in the past, don't they? Not sure about the details other than being emulations of old Fender amps but I don't think that was a success.
Whoever is telling Boss which company they should make pedals with, is fucking loco.

The only thing I dislike more than this pedal/collaboration is the fact that Rabea made it sound pretty nice.
Honestly, the funniest part about this whole thing is that Boss is trying to cop DOD's marketing method and immediately managed to piss off half the pedal nerd community with their first pedal.

Laughed pretty hard at that.

Yeah I decided to take a look earlier after posing the question... they have recent videos. Don't watch them.
