When I was in Japan in 1984 I bought a Squier strat. I contemplated getting an orange one.
Reminded me of a Creamsicle.
Still sort of regret going with the boring black paint/white pickguard.

We are going to family trip it to Japan at the end of the year.
I wanted to pick up a cheapie mustang or purple (or green) Ibanez roadstar.
Now I wanna know if there are any orange options.

When I was in Japan I went to a huge guitar store.
Lots of options.
But all I had money for was a Squier. There were lucite guitars, there
was a fretless Hofner that some friendly middle-aged German was playing.
There were also lots of guitars with mirrors on them (for fog-based light
show dynamics). But that was in 1984. Hair bands were on the rise.
A purple mustang or Ibanez Roadstar sounds cool.
