Re: Stamme[n]
This was intended more as a crude stuttering thing (hence, stamme = norwegian for stutter)
It does not have to do with a DC offset or any kind of ground connection, but as there nothing in place to fade the loops in and out, depending on how different the start and the end of the sample are you will get an abrupt transition (well no transition, a jump)
I guess folks who want something with seamless loops might need an actual looper and not this.

Yeah I’m in total agreement here, I don’t really see that as an issue at all. It’s literally a stutter pedal.

Yeah. This is what I assumed. There was a guy on TGP (not David Torn) who was sort of questioning thedrolo wrote:This was intended more as a crude stuttering thing (hence, stamme = norwegian for stutter)

prominence of the "clicks". On initial listen to UglyCasanova's demo no "clicks" registered to me at all.
It just sounded killer. On second listen I could see what he was talking about... but to me they
are just part of the pedal's texture (discordant edge of cut-and-paste).
Back in the day I used to love making photocopies of photocopies for the generation loss/artifacts.
With sound... I seek the same kind of thing.... Feedback. Squeals. Hiccups. Gurgles. Sonic phlegm.
I guess there are some people who want a "weird pedal" who don't actually want a "weird" pedal.
For me the clicks and sudden hiccups are an integral part of the sound fabric that I want to
explode and magnify and be surprised by and react to and improvise patterns in response to.
More necks to dot, more dots to connect.
Which is also why I love fuzz. Unexpected outputs that result from the same old input is where
the magic is.

I literally have not noticed any clicks. I must be deaf.

Re: Stamme[n]
It's a fine idea
Though the setting it's on at the moment is from when I last had one, the result of me trying to make it sound as if it isn't a Rainbow Machine at all
as I was hearing a lot of demos and they all started to sound quite similar.
Even though it was bought on a whim, and I really haven't had time to find out what it's really capable of, I'm very pleased with the Stamme[n].

Super excited. If I miss out on this batch I’ll probably just quit playing music forever.

Dam[n]! That required Montreal Assembly speed. Speed that I did not have today.
As to clicks- artifacts can be as important as the sound itself. Rhodes had/have clicks that make them sound unique, &c.
