Safest bet is to post something from a non-white guy if you are unsure. No one will question it.

These may not count either.
Real African Noise - Billy Bao from Lagos, Nigeria (for further reading on the project

Fake African Noise (made by William Bennett of WHITEHOUSE / CUT HANDS fame. Even though it is fake, it's an awesome LP.)

In Iceland...elderly woman make trap music. Sigrídur Níelsdóttir. If you type that name and 'WFMU' in a search engine, you can find way more material than what is on youtube.

"Cultural Synthesis" this is the shit...sounds very "baroque".
SOLO & INDRE - "Senegalese kora player, Solo Cissokho, and Lithuanian kanklės player, Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė, meet each other for their first duo recording."

Whenever I hear the word "fusion" applied in a genre context...I, for whatever reason, associate it with WEATHER REPORT

My favourite Ravi Shankar album would be this (excellent for slow drones and gentle mysticism / then gets ridiculously fast and powerful)

If you want something more contemporary and like electronics mixed with world music, Mbongwana Star are pretty damn good

Or for something haunting and beautiful, Baaba Maal and Mansour Seck's guitar playing on Djam Leelii is hard to beat

If you're interested in some documentaries about African music, there was an amazing series made by the BBC in the 1980s that introduced me to a huge range of sounds I''d never heard and had me scouring record shops for almost impossible to find records. It's probably a bit dated now, but will always have a strong place in my heart.
