Propagandhi all the way.

Didn't hear too many great things about the Descendants LP, though.

The new Propagandhi record is superb. Todd's songs are huge. Guy can really sing. Well, they both can. But Todd normally does the bellowed 90 second rippers.

That song Chris sings about hunting trip has some kind of widdly emo Algernon Cadwallader thing going on. It's wild.

It was better than Cool To Be You, but I'd take any other Descendents LP over it. It wasn't a bad record. Just a little bland. Still better than most modern pop punk.

I'm looking forward to a new RVIVR album, if it ends up coming out this year. Don't know if anyone here is into them. It reminds me of the kind of the high energy/yelly melodic punk/hardcore I used to love to listen to and play in bands 10 years ago. Except now these bands are a little more catchy and less obsessed with writing about scene politics and being punk. Which I always found really tiresome, even though I definitely did it.

I ignored them in the beginning, as I wasn't really into Latterman and the hoards of bands that seemed to appear from their ashes. Then 'The Beauty Between' came out. That record is incredible. I listened to it non-stop for ages. The 'Bicker and Breathe' EP is really great too. Erica rules! One of my favourite punk vocalists.

i went to college with their bassist. their music never did it for me, but i didn’t have the heart to tell her.

I've been listening to Humiliation a lot recently. Anyone have similar recommendations?

Even though I like Latterman (never really got super into any of the other subsequent bands), her vocals are my favorite part of that band.

We all make mistakes and I'm certainly wrong a lot...but this is me when people at my work make threats to "tell on me" to my boss when I've done nothing wrong and am working at full capacity....
