But for real I don't use a board, I just put a couple pedals in my gig bag, so the pouches are kind of handy when I remember to use them.

Actually, the bags Chase Bliss includes with their pedals are identical to the bags Chessex sells as dice bags. I don't know if Joel buys them from Chessex or some local game store, or if he and Chessex source them from the same manufacturer, but it's definitely the same thing.

Dice bag. Weed bag. Does a person need more? Guess having backups could be handy...

Check your local game store. We sell them in two sizes at my shop, the smaller ones are $1.75 and the larger are $2.50.

I bought an expensive tote bag from Red Witch and it came with a very nice pedal in it. I thought that was a nice little touch.

Waiting for the dude that bitches about BATW's boxes to chime in.

I can honestly say that with anything I've owned which came with them (cell phones, headphones, etc.), I've never made any use of the bags and they usually just end up in a box or lost in a move.

This is, actually, a decent argument for them, though.
Really, though, the whole thing about the fancy boxes and dice bags and stickers is just to increase the perceived value of the product.

Yea, it's a thing, sometimes you can't avoid it.
When I burn incense like a Byzantine church on top of it all, I just don't worry about it much.

I've seen guitarists bring pedals to gigs wrapped in T-shirts, and in another case, wrapped in socks. I think the commemorative bag is considered a step up.
