Old news to everyone else I'm sure, but I actually just found out they've got another reverb now, one that doesn't look like a tampon dispenser. "Ventris", not available yet, or at least not around here

Downside is that contrary to the soundblox reverb, the price will be closer to that of the Nemesis, then to the price of a tampon dispenser :/

I've been on a long journey with reverb, can't seem to find something to stick with. Looking for a pedal or rack unit that can get Dead Can Dance-level huge. So any grandiose and cave-like verb recommendations are very much welcome and appreciated.

The solution to your query may actually be to rethink how you're using reverb. From the BST forum, I know you're looking to move a Supernatural, but have you ever stacked reverbs? If you absolutely have to move the Supernatural, I would suggest something like the Shift Line LIVE Reverb for its Cave bank, but I don't really endorse moving the Supernatural. I would first experiment with stacking reverbs and matching reverb-delay pairings, before I would look to completely tear down and rebuild the entire foundation.

I like to run multiple reverbs in sequence to exaggerate a sense of spatial size. I also prefer to place reverb in front of modulation and delay, so that the other effects are building off the reverb, and altering its dynamics, instead of keeping it at the back where it is most likely to dominate the entire signal. Whenever I get a new delay, I like to pair it with several reverbs to see how they interact. On Friday, a Keeley Echoes arrived and I've been running it behind all of my reverbs to expand their sound. By echoing the reverb, I'm able to add a lot of mass and character to the overall sound, as opposed to using the reverb alone. (putting the reverb behind the delay can also give an expanded sense of size, but at the back of the chain, there's so much spread, that the content of the signal loses clarity. I especially want to avoid reverbs that dampen or dull harmonics.)

For studio/wall-of-sound types of applications, there's a lot of variety out there, and there have already been solid suggestions made for standalone units (OTO BAM, Red Panda Context, Empress, et cetera). You don't necessarily need to get a premium reverb for $300-500 for cavernous sounds though. You can string along 3 cheaper reverbs in series (at 40-70% blend each), or you could do the same thing with a multi-effect like the Zoom MS-70 (takes no time at all to stack multiple reverbs & delays). Or like I mentioned before, the right reverb-delay combo will build texture by sculpting additional body and depth.

Ex 1: guitar > plate > plate > plate = sky-ripping drone

Ex 2: synth > plate > plate > plate = slow, blooming reverb

Ex 3: instrument > reverb > multi-head delay = full-bodied, rhythmic swells

Also, another way to enhance the resonance and decay of your current reverb(s) would be to pick up something like a TC Mimiq. Running a Mimiq behind your reverb will definitely add a bit more punch and dwell to the overall sound.

Seriously, though, I sold off my 2nd amp because of size, weight, money, and space. For how little I played in stereo, I could find no justifications for maintaining a 2-amp household. For those impractical enough to maintain such a burdensome enterprise, I imagine there are pleasures, both known and Unknown, to be found in parallel verb'age.
