It's my favorite pedal for sure. I am perpetually considering getting a second so I can use one as a dedicated looper.

what is a envelope controlled panner? ....depending on how hard/fast you play dictates the speed of the panning? I want to hear this. is it kinda like the nightwire from earthquaker?
&
I've got a bunch of radios and intercoms downstairs, maybe I should try doing this...

definitely

I think it was called In and Out and it was an effects loop that would include more of the signal loop the harder you played through a dynamic filter
Seems quite feasible and no one has made one I dont think?
Check out the Devi Heaven's Gate and Toadworks Enveloope.

You already solved your need, but Line6 M series has a panner with rate that can reactive to input volume. I also have a SPX90ii which has a stereo planner that you can set the input threshold to trigger the pan effect, with added ability to set trigger delay and how long the pan keeps going. Lots of power in those old racks.

Has two you can use at a time!
Fun Fact: I am going to be test driving one of those in a few weeks. I'm even more excited, now.

I have my normal set so that it's not the speed, but rather the intensity of the onset and the reset point of the pan controlled by envelope.
Can run a demo later once I've slept some, it's hit the end of my broadcast day.

It's a ludicrously good unit for level of control and options, I loved my GT-001 (same engine, patches interchangable) so much I got the big metal brother) and use both now.

-A guitar that I like (at my price)
-Clean octave down that sound good
-Massive distortion/fuzz that have lots of lows but wont sound heavy metal like

And by request, the To Mega Autopan patch out of the GT-100
All stereo effects are program-generated, nothing from me in post.
There's two conflicting autopan envelopes fighting it out based on frequency and opposing rise/fall L/R cycles. A pause resets the positions of each to default (medium-hard L/R respectively).
It's not intended to be blasting constant crazy pan to pan - I wanted something that simulated on its own how I was likely to want to mix something in post, without actually doing it - but in a pedal.

I just want the DL4 looper without the size/delay attached. Like, have it use a case like the ones common used for switch-loopers. Maybe just add an FX loop to it for posterity's sake.

A drive/fuzz where you can really control the, for lack of a better word, "tooth" of the gain. Maybe a better way to describe it would be the coarseness vs smoothness, like a more fine tunable version of a bias knob. I imagine this kind of thing being like a Brothers on steroids... I really liked the "digital brain/analog heart" thing applied to a drive pedal, but all you got in terms of tweakability was the usual gain and tone. So... Future Brothers?
EDIT Oh and with presets.
