yeah -- mold spore is yellow. it's still wild to me that there isn't a mold-spore clone (in a wah enclosure).manymanyhaha wrote:I don't remember why but I was obsessed with getting a Snarling Dog Mold Spore a few years back. It was before Reverb, I put bids on every ebay auction, thinking I would snag one. Gave up.odontophobia wrote:I feel you on that... from what I've read is that the Snarling Dog had a crazy slow sweep so I doubt that it was used in a traditional Wah sense but it surfaces here and there in photos or whatever. Sadly a bunch of fucking nerds weren't taking 10,000 photos of his pedals with their potato-phones back then.manymanyhaha wrote:I haven't listened to Isis in awhile but I used to wear the fuck out of Celestial, Oceanic and Panopticon and for the life of me, I don't remember hearing a wah sound at all. DL4, RV3, distortion, etc. Yes.
Not saying you are wrong, just that I was fooled cause I used to think of wah as the wanker's pedal. Before I saw Dead Meadow and Goat live that is. Now I have two wanker's pedals which I suppose makes me Dos Wanker.
But that isn't the Mold Spore, is it? I remember the Mold Spore as yellow, not red.
Yeah -- this is the boat I'm in with regards to wah.manymanyhaha wrote:Well, as someone who has been wankin with wah for about year or more now, the long sweep idea is quite appealing. I've been enamored with my Wilson Rippah but sometimes, have a hard time dialing it in.
Because, in a dumbass, might need special help sometimes kind of way, long sweep is appealing. Unga!
Same here. Though I would love to try most of them.frodog wrote:Never played any of the pedals that "everyone" has around here. CT5, BitQ, Mini... you name it, I've probably not tried it.
Well, then what's the Seppuku Mind Warp in your world?UglyCasanova wrote:Chorus

Yes, I agree you should. You got me curious so I took a peak at the existing demos and per usual, they don't do me any good because I don't use wah like that.odontophobia wrote:Yeah -- this is the boat I'm in with regards to wah.manymanyhaha wrote:Well, as someone who has been wankin with wah for about year or more now, the long sweep idea is quite appealing. I think the Wilson Freaker Wah seems interesting. I wish there were a more ILF tuned-demo of the Freaker Wah.
I should buy one and make one.

Also, the only flanger I've used is in the Bitquest. Although, I absolutely love it. Especially the fuzzy version.

Edited for a thought on how to elaborate: The way they use the wanking pedal is sort of the missionary portion. The way I use the wanking pedal is more like the singer from inxs. I just try not to pass out first.
What, too soon?
