I saw them at Ozz Fest in like 99 and just didn't get it. I mean, it's okish, but I just can't get into them no matter how many times I've tried. It's like Primus. I dig the music, hate Claypool's singing (if you can call it singing).
I never liked them until I see them live a few years ago, they had 2 amazing drummers! So went back to home to listen to them again, nope, they suck.

The Melvins are the best band in the history of rock and roll.
Floyd is very "meh".

Honestly, it was six of one / half dozen of the other. Kind of a joke, but after I posted it, I realized how much I probably would love a cool reinterpretation compilation of The Animals.

Magnetic Eye Records has done this before with Jimi Hendrix Electric Lady Land and Helmet's Meantime. Both were really good. It also helps him show off some of the bands on his label.

Right now I'm listening to the greatest band that ever was, the Melvins.
Pink Floyd should be covering the Melvins imo.
