It's really not that useful. Obv it's got that cool ehx bigbox vintage mojo, but I don't really like the sound of the thing. Who knows, maybe I'll find a use for it!

Here's three cool old Japanese pedals

Image

Roland Bee Baa AF-100
Shin-ei/National FW-939 Fuzz -Wah -- this is a SuperFuzz with a crappy wah (think of it as a tone control though..awesome)
Ace Tone FM-2 Fuzz Master -- Mighty Mighty fuzz.

And here's another trio of nice old EHX
EHX Ram's Head Era Bad Stone phaser (v1) Big Muff Pi (v2) Frequency Analyzer

Here's another few cool old Maestro pedals

Echoplex EP-4. Not really a pedal but cool and old...

FZ-1B Fuzz Tone
Gnarly super-gated vintage fuzz tone. There's a few versions of this. Mine has four transistors. Squelch amplifier and is spitty and gated. I love it.

PS-1A Phase Shifter
The first (?) phaser.

I love the designs of some of those older stuff, especially the black pedals with the colouredy buttons... looks retro in a really awesome way.

Ibanez PQ-401.
"Parametric EQ" even though it's a graphic eq.... :erm:

It is parametric as you're singling out frequencies to boost. A graphic EQ would have the sliders dedicated to a frequency.

I think.

It's the v1. Different circuit to the later one with the manual knob to bypass the LFO...it's got a Color switch (faster pitch shift vibrato & chorus/slow phase) instead. One of my favourite phasers.
