i really wish i hadn't sold my peavey 412 festival cab. could've loaded it with bass speakers to pair with the matching 215. would've been cool as hell.

Never tried a Marshall cab. If the price is right...you know. :)

They both usually go for pretty cheap. It isn't really relevant for me to be looking at amps and cabs, as things are right now, but would be nice to know for future reference. That 1525 makes my willy tinkle.

I've got this Aguilar GS115 (from dear sweet behnderz) and I think I mucked the speaker up with a BEF-Pro years ago, but it only tends to get mucky when it gets hammered, so it kinda...makes my distorted toanz unique? Playing with a tapewound fretless..don't really need articulate midsies or anything so I haven't bothered replacing it.

Find a cheap 1x15 and a cheap 2x12. Both on their own are light and easy to move but combined makes for a crushing stack. Just my $0.02

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I actually just heard back from that guy selling the old ampeg 8x10 and I'm gonna go pick it up this weekend. Should be a good place to start.
