I used to work in a library, and we'd occasionally throw stuff out that was donated. One time we had 3 or 4 boxes full of these records by a woman name Julia Gifford-Pyrek aka Scanlan. I had to take one for myself. I really need to upload the record somewhere, because it's terrible.

so that reminds me of BJ Snowden. According to youtube she is more well known then I ever thought though? My friends all worked at a Newbury comics and she was a school music teacher in the next town over so she used to come in and talk to everyone and give them her cds all the time, I have 1 somewhere. As far as I know she is still around, teaching and playing music.

That's exactly where it goes.
My favorite tracks are "Tango in Studio 54" and "Everybody Watching TV"

I don't have any super strange vinyl, just mostly screamo... like the 5" La Quiete/Phoenix Bodies split, it's just the format that's weird.

A lot of strange tapes, tho. Many bought at goodwill type shops, to tape over on my 4-track. Like the other day, me and a buddy recorded some jams over some christian radio show or something of an old guy and a Swedish lady playing religious songs on organ. Luckily we didn't tape over all of it, so I might use some of it - maybe the talking between songs - to bookend the recording when mixing it.

Oh and I have this tape by "Nicole Kidman", check out this song which has gotten a wee bit of hate in the comment section. I have a soft spot for shitty home recordings:

Back in my student days, there was this festival, called "ziemlich mies / assez nul" - which translates into "pretty shitty".
The bands performing there where exactly that: pretty shitty.
They recorded the whole thing in really shitty quality and put out a record that came in a paper bag.
