Just nailing this thread to the wall.
Powell, Shogun Kunitoki, Broadcast - microtronics. Ceephax Acid Crew, Charles Cohen, EEK, Factory Floor, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Kraftwerk (duh), Stereolab, Tortoise, Tomaga, Wendy/Walter Carlos, The Advisory Circle, Morton Subotnick, Syrinx - Syrinx...... and more
I got the urge to expand on this list with some examples....
Add n to (x) (avant hard is totally the best album of theirs. I have a soft spot for the harshness of vero electronics too)

Powell - was kinda disappointed by the latest album, but everything before it is ace

Shogun Kunitoki - haven't done anything for a while, but one of the best synth/organ bands i've ever seen
Ceephax Acid Crew - acid master from my hometown

Factory Floor - far better live than on record, and also were far better as a 3piece than a 2piece. But still pretty ace

Tomaga - recordings have a more early electronics/experimental vibe. live the drums are far more impacting and they tend to improvise around the themes on the records. Drone/tribal drumming/contact mic percussion/samples etc. really good! The girl can drum like a demon
