I ordered from Rogue Guitar Shop (as did ruiner I think?) but I haven't heard anything about shipping yet.

I'd rather have nine $50 delay pedals than one $450 delay pedal. Imagine how much delay you could get out of nine delays... a lot more than 1.2 seconds.

Plus you could run up to nine delay modes at once and that is drugs.

I imagine you're half-joking, but I tried to do that years ago, and unfortunately effects just cancel each other out at a certain point.

ex: about 5 reverbs = insane sustain, washout
after that, you're effectively negating the weaker effects, or you're adding subtleties that could only be measured by machines, not by the human ear

ex: 2 Moog phasers = lush, delightful modulation
3 Moog phasers = you can barely tell there's a third one there

Here's an actual example, though, of 16 delays in series. ---Basically it sounds like about 3-5 pedals (delay/rev/delay, or delay/delay/rev or delay x 5, or rev/delay/delay/rev).

Yes, chaining 9 delays is a joke and I agree with your assessments. I hope all who acquire Echosystem find heretofore unknown delights.

You don't stack that many effects IN SERIES into 1 (or even 2) amps. I'd get the 9 $50 delays, but I only have 5 amps.

I'd buy a calculator, a spectrograph, and some dehydrated ice cream, before I'd buy 9 amps.

I don't know why, but the more demos there are of this, the less interested I become.
Honestly, I've never been a "delay machine" kind of guy, but something about this turns me off even more? :idk:
Maybe it's just that the difference between the cheapies and the expensive pedals is getting so indistinguishable that I just can't get excited about that stuff, anymore and I'm getting more into the idea that I should just buy a rack effect that's been this good for probably 20+ years, does tons more stuff, and is probably close to the same price as a new one of these? :?: :whoa:

Happy to do a video of mine if people have specific things they wanna hear. A comprehensive demo would be...long.
