i see, i see. okay then.

probably better than anything else? :idk: that's the answer i see everyone giving you; humbuckers are a bit too compressed and straight single coils end up getting too ice picky.

I just decided not to get that Fano JM6 Standard... It look perfect but, I hate the relic job on it... I will regret it if I get it. So I'm still seraching.

I'll second the WRHB idea. See if you can find something with Lollar WRHBs in it. They are crazy good. And a really really nice middle ground between humbuckers and single coils.

I have a Lollar Regal Wide Range on my tele at the neck. It's good but not very punchy.

Ah yeah, you're right about that. How about something with Firebird pickups?

Man, I love Firebird pickups.

Syl, just get like 40 cheap guitars like the rest of us. Come on.

My place is very small. And I like quality stuff unfortunately.

I guess I'll have to travel a bit.

honestly. those guitars were terrible. i still have one for sale at my shop, it's a pain in the ass to setup or restring and it's a very awkward guitar to hold/play. not to mention gibson's quality was down the toilet back in 2015.

I generally hate Firebird neck anyway... large and thine.

oh yeah, 2015 was *the* year for the super wide and thin necks on their guitars.

How about something with Lollar Charlie Christian pickups. Those things are magical. Might even be able to do a pickup swap on your existing Tele. (Depending on how the neck pickup cavity is routed.)
