When I did my interview for Acid Splash Designs it was via Skype. I have no idea what dude used to record, but it sounded great. It was a lot of fun to do as well. I was kind of high on pain meds when we talked so I went on and on about random crap he didn't even bring up. hahaha.
I think this would be fun!

Honestly if I can come up with some canned questions and some non canned, I think I have a good interviewer voice. I mean, maybe I'm wrong??

I think the most important thing about interviews is to make it as much of a conversation as possible. There's nothing I hate more than listening to an interview where there's a pretty clear tangent that could be really interesting that gets completely ignored because it veers off from the questions.

As someone who regularly engages in tangents as a way of life, I agree.
I would be down for participating / interviewing / whatevs. Used to do college radio, been on friend's podcasts, etc. I like to yammer, and am always interested in conversations with interesting new folks.

And vicey-versey.
If we could ever find that Thom Dhalton guy, he's pretty good at the whole talking thing, as well.

Tom should be involved obvi.
Episode wvery three weeks is good.
I live close to both Behndy and waltdogg as well as a few others so it would be relitively easy to interview them/be interviewed.

I like everything I've read in this thread except the interviewee turns interviewer aspect. That would take some warming up to for me.

Who is the intended audience for these?

Honestly, if it gets up onto any podcast aggregators (itunes/google music) then it'd probably develop it's own audience outside the board as content goes up and a format develops. The more regular the posts, the more likely people are to find it.

I'm sure the world wants to hear us circle jerking as much as we want to.

i think we could make a popular podcast or webseries out of this with relative ease.

Especially if we can interview the pedal builders on the site and do some reviews of new gear. I am 1000% positive this board could produce entertaining audio demos for a podcast about fuzz.

yes! and then all we need to build up is a basic content structure for each interview and episode, etc

cap it at 20-30 minutes apiece.
I hate the 2+ hours of jibber jabber
