Hmmmm we all needs goals especially gear goals.
Take the Buster to the Mesa shop for a tune up.
Fix the caster on the bottom of my 8x10.
Fix the noise coming from my bass after I did the series/parallel mod
Trade or sell all my side jacks pedals for top jacks pedals
I think thats it...

so many wishes/goals...
(1a) finally organize some pedals for a DIY board, so I have a more immediate solution to playing my synths at home.
(b) incorporate my MIDI pedals (Chase Bliss, Empress, Source Audio) into a MIDI-equipped board
(2) buy another analog synth
(3) resist buying too many pedals post-NAMM
(4) finally replace my dearly-departed Sherman Filterbank 2. I sold mine around 2005 to pay rent on my record store and after a long hiatus from playing haven't replaced it. Maybe I'll get a FB2 and a Source Audio Solemate (fingers crossed they'll play nice).
(5) in February I'll have a lot of rewards points accumulated. Hopefully I'll put those points toward one high-dollar purchase (like an Analog Heat) instead of a bunch of smaller items.
(6) finish a guitar project. I have some bodies, but no necks finished. I also need to find the discipline to save up for some pickups, since I can't finance the ones I want.
(7) set aside some cash for the final 5 weeks of 2017, so that I can buy some stuff outright, instead of getting everything through Synchrony Bank.
(8) Future Retro Mondovox and a Zillion for complementing my current synths.
(9) a newer iPad for MIDI triggering & standalone composition apps
(10) OTO BAM

Gear goals:
Be happy with what I have on the pedalboard. I want to try fiddling with a phaser
I really want a Shortscale bass
I want to finish up a decent synth rig. Need something with a sequencer and synthiness.
A volca sample
Possibly get rid of my amps and get a simple tube combo thing
Again, try some more fuzz circuts.

The more that I think about it, I really want to just focus less on gear and more on actually getting a band going again. I haven't played on a stage in about four years, which is just horrible to me... I miss it so much and hate that I've been focusing on the wrong things.
With that in mind, I've realized that it's just really hard to get friends in a practice space very often when you're in your late 30s. Problem solved, though: I found some younger guys who are both eager and productive, so I'm gettin' on that shit asap in the new year. Whippersnappers procured

This, along with figuring out a decent like 6 pedal solution for live stuff. It's really hard to effectively work a lot of effects into hardcore.
(Side note: does anyone's V4 actually work..?)

Not sure if it's sarcasm but why don't simply get a multi fx? dun think hardcore kids will care if they are hearing a digitalized as fuck Zoom repeat or a trve panasonic mn3005 one.

Partially sarcasm, partially I have really specific sounds in mind, but the pedals that get close tend to sound too pretty. Like I absolutely need a ring mod, heavy fuzz, delay, and a big reverb for our set. Everything else I use amp dirt for.
Also as far as kids caring what I use, I couldn't give less of a shit. My tone is for me, first and foremost, the crowd second. Kids are gonna punch each other whether or not I'm using a phaser on the slow parts.

I went through this earlier this year. Bought a switcher, which was pretty rad, but figuring out the cable situation was an enormous pain in the ass, and once I got it set up I had horrible anxiety thinking about the even bigger PITA of troubleshooting in case of cable failure. Ultimately sold the switcher.
I'd still like to figure out something a lot simpler, like a loop setup that'd allow me to have conveniently accessible clean and dirty sounds without all the tap dancing.

Pedals I just take as they come. As far as major stuff, I need to finish my bass rig, convert my guitar setup to lightweight stuff and round out my acoustic instruments. Hoping to pick up at least 3-4 of these, more if the job situation improves:
Glockenklang Blue Rock
Accugroove Tri112L or 115L
fretless 5-string
Bogner Barcelona head
Nechville Midnight Phantom
Phoenix Neoclassical
Beardsell 4G and/or 17"+ archtop
Also hoping to reduce my overall collection to a more moveable size (mainly wanna offload a ton of guitars), because I'm sick of living here but have too much stuff to take anywhere without a shitload of hassle and expense.

It's being heavily considered atm. That or just some kind of Loopmaster/Disaster Area kind of thing that just does A, B, A+B with separate switches.
