Oh shit, Canada just got Black Mirror season 1 and 2! Also Green Room, which I've been dying to see! So excited!

heh i just watched green room a few nights ago. some loose ends in that one... and some terribly unrealistic injuries... but it's not bad.

I need to watch that. Had some weird aversion at first but I don't think I can resist bad guy P. Stew.

Yeah, I had the same thought. Entertaining, but not great.

Also my girlfriend and I watched that Disney movie Zootopia the other night and I gotta say, it was pretty dang good despite being outside of our normal realm of movie consumption. My only complaint is the blatant cop glorification, but idk if y'all are also on that train so I'll save my anti-police rant. If you ignore that though, it's surprisingly awesome. Probably the best children's movie I've seen since Hugo.

Watched Yoga Hosers. It was great fun! Has me pumped for Moose Jaws, and wanting to watch Tusk.

Also, watched St. Vincent. It wasn't bad. But, I don't think it had the emotional impact that it wanted to.

Just started watching Dirk's Gently and absolutely loving it already. Now I want to read the book. Douglas Adams is hilarious

the expanse hits amazon prime tomorrow so probably gonna make the mrs. sit through that with me.
exciting since we're not having much success with new shows these days.

Yeah. The whole movie seemed to want to pay off in one scene...didn't quite land.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well done it was.
Granted, the story was kind of empty and boring, but it was enjoyable.

I liked Dark Matter even though it came off as yet another sci-fi show about amnesia.
I don't know that I'd say the second season was as good as the first, but that's not saying much, anyway.

Honestly I think my lady and I gave up on it last night. Started Sleepy Hollow on Hulu.

Cool, can't wait for the weekend! Might binge this one if Last Guardian doesn't show up. I was a big fan of The Family. This looks similar, with more if a supernatural twist.

Hey you might like it just fine--this season was just a little lackluster. Not to ruin anything, but you can really only visit the 'amnesia' well in terms of storytelling one time before your audience turns on you.
