Last year I was up at 3 a.m. East Coast time (midnight Pacific) to buy a Sub-Zero...no luck. This year I get up early in the a.m. and the whole batch of 24 is already gone. Waited all through 2016 for a used one to pop up and I never saw one. *le sigh*

BTW I'm sure someone on here would be happy to ship a couple of these abroad for fellow ILFers. I think I sent my backup Eterna Gold to Sweden last year for about $25. Small pedals can go pretty much anywhere for about $30.

You can still get the standard Shepard, but not the Sub-Zero (subtractive TZF circuit with reversed colour scheme). The Supermoon Chrome and the VTG Chorus (modeled after the CE-1) are also available. I played a friend's Double Chorus and it was good, but not what I needed. Personally I'd rather have his vintage chorus tribute.

If I didn't already have an Eterna in gold, as well as a Supermoon Chrome, I'd be tempted to scoop one of these.

If any of you are into synthy VST stuff, Native Instruments is running a 50% off deal on a lot of their stuff. I picked up Kontakt, FM8, and Guitar Rig for $99 each over the last couple of years.

Mr. Black pedals seem like they will be kind of boring, but then you get one and they just sound...awesome...even before you dwiddle the knobs. Simple and not overwhelming in sound or ability. Perfect pedals.
