I'm gonna throw Puma into the ring. I caught these guys in London back in...... 2008? 2009? probably only 8 people in the room. Blew my tits clean off. I left on such a buzz that night! More of a freeform style ensemble that barely falls into the categories i stated probably, but fucking awesome nonetheless.

Puma is/where amazing!
I caught them in 2010, right after they released Half Courtship Nelson.
Had'nt heard them before, just went to the show because I was a fan of their guitarist, Stian Westerhus.
That is still one of the most amazing live experiences I've ever had.
But the best thing was the light show.
The light rig was 10 big strobes placed around the room, and no other lamps.
An epileptic nightmare.

Phantomsmasher self titled album is pretty FULL ON. I love how the production changes so frequently to different styles and physical spaces. It's pretty incredible. Ten minutes in and i've already heard an album's worth of material.lordgalvar wrote: Phantomshasher (Plotkin in general).

Good deal. Glad I found one good one haha.
O.L.D. (lo flux tube and Old Lady Drivers only probably) and Atmosmasher are two other good plotkin bands.
East West Blast Test might be good too...Chris Dodge and Dave Witte.
