You could maybe
mod in an expression pedal. I've been thinking about doing it for the drag control.
Matt Weed is the coolest! It seems like a lot of people have modded their Afterneath for EXP (hard to believe it's nearly 2 years since it came out & I still don't have one

), which is why I'm kind of wondering why EQD never considered revising the build a la a V2 (but maybe I'm more alone in my thinking

). Also, I'm spoiled that so many other ILF-friendly builders basically cater to those kind of requests in the first place, soooooo.........

EQD def outgrew ILF.
I'm almost sure that the EQD guys said they didn't want to add EXP in because it only sounds good with subtle changes or something like that.

Whaaaaat? Going wild with that knob is half the fun of the pedal...

Would be cool if EQD would build a big box super reverb pedal that had all their verbs in one box with presets.

Is the Third Hand still in production?

Doesn't look like it, I didn't even know that was a thing

Oh, shit, I remember seeing those a while back and thinking, "damn, I want one of those."

Just like the Afterneath (which I bought when it got released and traded quickly after that), from the demos it makes me think that this would be a great pedal for me if I could spend a few hours with the code to tweak a few things first. Also, resonant filters sweeps are usually quite boring, controlling almost any other parameter with the exp input would have been more interesting I think.
It might be better than the afterneath though, I'll wait until I can try one or see a video where we can see how it behaves with low decay until I for a proper opinion

.

The more demo vids I see the less interested I become.

I had a Third Hand, wasn't that awesome. Think it might still be in my garage, haha...
But shit yes this thing sounds lovely—EQD indeed are bringing it recently. Gray Channel's still the best pedal I've procured in quite a while.

Once I watched Henning's demo/review it pretty much killed any GAS I might've potentially had.
When I realized how boring and gimmicky it sounded
to my ears it just killed all interest.
It sounds (
to me) like they just added a phaser (obviously it's a filter, but whatever) in the reverb's effects loop.

It's cool and all, I suppose. But I'd much rather have a spacious reverb with an effects loop than something that would barely ever get used like this.

Is this going to turn into 15 pages of people bitching about EQD ripping off consumers because they don't put every reverb they produce into one pedal, or so they get a pass because they aren't considered "hipsters"?

Naw, we're well aware (at least I am) that we are niche customers with too many pedals, it's cool of this is somebody's sound.

I could see that happening. ILF is the new TGP...jk kind of.

I'm going to offer a DOS solution.
Don't buy it.
