The manual says it does vibrato, and that's definitely what I hear when I turn the left depth knob up past 12 o'clock, whereas the right side sounds like a chorus. Granted, I've never tried any other straight vibrato, but yeah... tweak it and judge for yrself.

maybe you're right, I can't really tell? says in the manual that the A section is vibrato and the B is chorus but both sound like chorus to me?

Nice video, yeah I hear a difference from mine I think, I played around with it a little just now. Then again, it could be because you're using only the inv. out and I use both.

Maybe the vibrato is more noticeable in stereo?

That would be cool, like one side out is vibrato and the other chorus. Ill try that right now.

No love for the Boss CE-1? It's probably a little overkill both in terms of price as well as functionality for someone who's after nothing more than a good vibrato effect...But I've always been curious about the CE-1. Probably cause it looks cool and oozes with vintage mojo, but also cause my old CE-2 sounded sweeeeeeeet...

It's no matter of "no love". I have never had the chance to play a CE-1. But there's the new BOSS CE-2w which has the CE-1's vibrato mode inside as well as the chorus of the CE-1 and CE-2. Might be worth to check it out.

Yeah it's been pretty high on my list since I heard about it. I regretted selling my CE-2 not long after it was gone, but now it might not've been an aweful move after all. The new "w" version came out after I flipped my CE-2, so maybe I got a better price than when I would've waited :idk:

A used CE-2W shouldn't cost a whole lot more than what an old CE-2 goes for, or at least used to go for. And it doe a lot more :)

CE-1 was too damn hard to find in the day, and I just personally ended up getting a vintage JC instead. :)

Fulltone Choralflange can do the warped vinyl vibrato thing, but I think a VB-2w or TC Shaker are the easiest options
