Dibs. :animal:

Although, judging by your experience so far, I'm not sure I'd trust it'd actually be MDMA.
Agreed. Much like the pedal, it would probably be something else that appeared as though it had been partially stored in someone's rectum for an undetermined period.

Final necrobump to update and/or warn any interested parties. After a period of almost two months that included two PayPal disputes, dead air when attempts were made to communicate directly with the builder, and Reverb finally putting pressure on him to commit to a repair time for the defective POS he originally sent me, a somewhat-functional MDMA effects Uglyface arrived in the mail earlier today. There is no video demo to use as a frame of reference for the model I ordered, so I have no definitive means of verifying it actually functions as it should. There are three different LFO modes, the left LED now blinks in sync with the LFO, the rightmost two knobs serve an entirely different function than they did prior to the "repair", the input and output jacks are now a smaller size that barely accommodates standard cable ends, and most of the controls are non-operative or behave inconsistently depending on the LFO mode setting. Based on the wacky manner in which the unit operates, I can only hope it doesn't randomly crap out in the near future, as the individual who built it clearly has no intrinsic motivation to honor professional commitments or provide quality customer service. Unless Wallace Baldwin of Carbondale, PA changes his attitude toward customer service and his work ethic, I would strongly advise against doing business with MDMA effects via Reverb, Ebay, Facebook, or any other sales platform that involves PayPal. My unit was allegedly #17, so there must be other people out there who have dealt with him. It looks as though the last two on Reverb didn't offer 5 star feedback for unclear reasons. I plan to speak my mind when Reverb reactivates feedback for my order.

Fun drug.
I tried it once and something called Panda when I was Minneapolis.
just remember being in a nice zone and really digging bass vibrations.
also don't be on a roof. I remember not caring about heights and just loving on the lights.
a kind female soul coherced me back to safety. you need some boundaries with this stuff because it dropped all of mine.
I was at an art party with wine in hanging sacks with vines around them. when they got low, you had to slap it to get anything out.
and remember kinda being the guy helping everybody get drunk.
fun times.

[quote="ck3"]Okay. The following necrobump is a PSA about what continues to be a needlessly complicated and frustrating transaction with MDMA effects. After Reverb exerted a metric crap ton of pressure, the builder finally delivered a somewhat functional pedal. I tried to make a polite inquiry with the builder about my concerns after receiving the pedal, and he now seems to be giving me the silent treatment. Time to share images and videos.

dude this pisses me off....i contacted the guy threw phone and after he didnt get what i was talking about he'd text me for a week asking if i wanted a phaser when i asked a simple diy question??

At the point he was still bothering to respond, his replies to my efforts to communicate didn't make much sense either. MDMA effects, indeed. :trippy:

Definitely not into companies that clone small builders, though.
Also, copying the graphics is so incredibly shitty.
