Lizards or not, I hope MWFX gets their act together for everybody's sake - I kept reading this thread & expecting the worst, but thankfully it's 50/50? Also, since all the Judder-esque pedals that have come out recently still seem to pale in comparison (Csidman, Charlie Foxtrot, etc., unless you go full Hexe?). Or maybe Electro Harmonix has something cheap & nasty up their sleeve...

Matt appears to be getting his act together, I'm pretty sure he just made an honest (big) mistake, coupleonapkins wrote:Lizards or not, I hope MWFX gets their act together for everybody's sake - I kept reading this thread & expecting the worst, but thankfully it's 50/50? Saying he basically got overwhelmed with the number of preorders and decided to focus on getting the builds done and somewhat neglect customer emails. I admit theres some pretty flawed logic at play there but he does seem to be fixing it the best he can and I'm yet to see a post from anyone that hasn't eventually either had a refund or received a pedal.

Thanks for that link - I forget how nuts reddit can be, but I'm glad to hear he's trying to make it work. Dude has some great ideas, and I was really sad to hear about the state of things lately.

On the other hand, it's a good sign if he wants to jump into it full time, like Scott did after the ct5.D.o.S. wrote:Yet another reminder for prospective builders that it's probably best to sell things as you build them rather than taking advance orders.

i think its a lesson to learn your limits. Building pedals with the assumption you are going to sell them is not a good idea if you havent established a demand.D.o.S. wrote:Yet another reminder for prospective builders that it's probably best to sell things as you build them rather than taking advance orders.

It's only a good sign if he doesn't get to in over his head. This happens sometimes with folks and they either A) Work their asses off to get caught up or B)disappear off the map and give up completely while never refunding money. I've seen it happen both ways.Inconuucl wrote:On the other hand, it's a good sign if he wants to jump into it full time, like Scott did after the ct5.D.o.S. wrote:Yet another reminder for prospective builders that it's probably best to sell things as you build them rather than taking advance orders.
Don't take pre-orders. That's the best way OR only take like 50 bucks so there's less risk for both parties.
No doubt he has some cool shit, but he most likely needs help now and may not be able to get it, which sucks.
