You're probably right.
I love MXR. I probably love MXR more than anyone else on here. I think they're the best Guitar Center mass-production brand you can get. But I've never cared for the Carbon Copy.
I hope this forces MXR to innovate and either bring down the price of the Carbon Copy (because it should really be at a lower price point), or maybe expand/improve upon it.

The square wave settings seems pretty cool...for $98 this is TOO tempting.

"abandon all hope ye who crush that button..."
Jrmy: Exactly - "the fuzz is strong with that one."

I'm getting the Cathedral when it comes out (late August, I believe). Anyone get a Memory Boy yet? I'm shopping around for a nice analog delay.

Square wave + expression pedal + price tag = massive win.

I'm getting one in Sept. Fro my berfday.
I'm pretty excited. Now I don't have to worry about getting a chorus, vibrato, another delay, OR a pitch pirate!
Heh, JK about the pitch pirate. It can do MUCH more that this thing.

The Cathedral's expected street price is $214.00. If I end up getting one, I'm going to have to paint it. It's fugly.

seriously, whoever is doing the graphic design on their newer pedals deserves to be shot. EHX used to have such cool looking pedals....

It doesn't bother me THAT much it's just meant to look like stained glass like in a...CATHEDRAL.

Well, imagine it with the stained glass if they didn't paint the box white...

the concept doesn't bother me, I just think it's a shitty design. I feel the same way about the POG 2, Holy Stain, and SMMwH.
