Here's something a little more mellow, although it can get pretty rawkus!

This is the Fredric Effects "The Accomplished Badger" is a full-range, 2-stage pre-amp with a an op-amp stage running into a germanium stage with a master volume at the end.

The demo has both clean amp (listening to the pedals sound itself) and intro a dirty amp to see how it boosts.

I really like it when it's slightly dirty and comforting on a clean signal, just doing that compression and fattening thing, and it turns the (fairly crappy) dirty channel on my Laney into full-on melt-down mode in a way that other boosts I've tried don't.

Oh - and I've got a demo of the upgraded* version of the "Ikea" pedal ready to go pretty soon.

And here's the upgraded version of the Little Bear G1 ikea drive:

Obviously very similar to the self-assembly version (but with a case). Seems a little more reigned in gain wise - doesn't do they "amp on fire" tone of the cheaper one. Suffers from coming with a 6n4 valve - you can switch it easily though, makes all the difference.
