Yeah I'm not sure if this says more about your sharp business acumen or the stupidity of people.
I guess both is probably the answer.

Looks like my tradition of never sitting through an entire Autechre record will remain unbroken.

I've avoided posting in here so far do to life being a shithead lately, but anyways, figured I'd give my input:
I wub you, Autechre, but this is just a TAAAADDDD on the expensive side. I'm sure I'll get it at some point, but I haven't splurged yet.
Also, I totally get why people feel like they do about Autechre. And I even admit that not all of their shit smells like roses. They've made some of the most profoundly awesome music I've ever heard, but they've also had some clunkers. It happens to the best of them.
But not all of their music is completely impenetrable arythmic bloops. A lot of it is just awesome straight-ahead minimalist techno. Listen to Amber, that's still my favorite album. But when they want to get weird, that can be awesome too, (Ganz Graf).
I've seen them live 3 times, and "150 guys standing around bobbing their heads to the sounds of robots fucking" is the perfect description.

Do you want to split it?
