Maybe I am the only one who thinks like this but I tend to ignore boards that seem to have bunches of flavor of the month peds on em
even if the people using them have legit reasons

I do that.
Although I'm a bit more forgiving depending on the context.
After the millionth Count to Five, I sort of go blind to it. Particularly if they're on what an essentially vanilla board otherwise.
But if you've got some rad synth/weird instrument rig going on I can totally see how that would be more effective.

I appreciate utility pedals because they're there to make a good thing great.
It's all about that ability to make riffs huge.
Shreds cut deeper.
