There's not too much to it. Its a delay intended to be used on vox for live use. Instead of 1/4" in/out, it has xlr in/out with appropriate transformers to use with a mic. Also has an f/x loop so you can run other effects into the delay, or you can run the dry signal out of the SEND for other mixing etc. They also offer a back plate with a mic stand clip so you can attach it to your mic stand and its right there for you to mess with without having to bend over etc. Mix knob goes from 100% dry to 50/50 at 1:1 on the mix dial...goes a little beyond that but i'm not sure if it goes 100% wet. When the feedback gets into the red it starts oscillating and it also starts to boost the signal to pretty insane amounts, which is pretty cool. I've got plans to use it as main mic for vocals, and can also see using it as an additional "effect" mic.

Just opened it up, and there is an internal trim pot marked FDBK. Wonder if that is tweakable Its pretty accurately marked on the feedback dial/graphics where it starts to go into oscillations and that seems like a pretty useful reference point... so maybe its not meant to be messed with.

Anyone know if the back plate add-on comes with both types of back plates, or just the mic clip? I'd like to have both to see what works for me...?

Also. FWIW, it's not based on the original Echo Master, from what I've gathered by looking at the DBA website in the custom tab.

Id have to double check, but I think it says Advanced Vocal Echo v5 on one of the circuit boards and, v4 on the other board. I think Echo Master has a better ring to it than Advanced Vocal Echo haha.

Yeah, that sounds about right.
I think they named it that because no one really knows anything about the Echo Master (outside of UC's demos) but they, at least, have heard of it.

This release has definitely boosted my views on youtube
