not really, but maybe kinda? if you listen to this demo in particular i'm in envelope mode and making small adjustments etc. which changes the response from pitchshifting repeats, to juddery repeats, to sound on sound layering, to glitchy stuff.

i guess in this example when its doing sound on sound...and there are probably other ways to get it to do this too?...its sorta doing a freeze, and then the envelope setting/playing dynamics lets you retrigger it....so you could just freeze a note or whatever and not layer it to get something similar is what i'm getting at haha. i dunno how close that is to the particle but at least its an audio example of something somewhat similar.

haha nearly ALL of my demos i make the first time i even plug in the effect....i literally have NO IDEA what i'm doing.
just make a video showing the sound you like, and maybe show how adjusting the knobs effects the sound...or just an audio clip would be awesome
easy peasy.

Weird reading/watching brand new stuff about pedals I actually own and use every day. I'm so crap at pedals
ps. Possessed is better than both of them ///controversial

To me, Raptio is still the best. So simple, so great sounding.

I like the Particle but never used it like I would a Judder.
IMO the Judder was pretty fucking useless. I just could not get anything out of it. Now the Possessed if fucking killer! I also agree the Rapito is amazing as well. Although I wish it'd latch. Or am I remembering that wrong? Does it latch? I stupid. ME STUPID.

Raptio doesn't latch. It's my biggest complaint with it because I don't like having my foot on it while I have to bend down to fuck with knobs.
Judder is a fantastic pedal, far better than the Particle (even though they aren't the same). Possessed is pretty awesome, but trading it for a Hexe Revolver was a great trade for me. If I find another Possessed I wouldn't hesitate to buy it though.

Maybe it's because I play bass??? The Judder just didn't seem to work right for me. I'd give it another shot though because I wanted to like it.

I play bass primarily and I love using the Judder. I haven't had a chance to play it in a full band setting, but the Judder is totally a fun pedal. I've been using it lately in Envelope mode, where I set the envelope so it only triggers on harsher playing and it whacks out the chip and makes strange noises. I like the PT2399 noise in this pedal a ton more than other pedals.
I did a video if it here because I had so much fun doing it:

apples are fantastic, far better than oranges (even though they aren't the same).
I really don't like the Particle on bass man. I want one again (I think) to use with my modular stuff though. They are very different though (although the Judder is better).

I use both the Judder and the Particle on bass

I never got the Particle to work on bass very well, I had to turn up all the knobs to max to barely even hear the effects. I'm still so interested in it though

These are pretty great in their own way. I think the judder is the most versatile if I consider the different use/sounds/textures I can get from an Individual pedal..or wait, the deFormer I guess is actually the most versatile. Then the judder. Raptio is probably the least versatile but I still love what it does about as well as anything else.
