How does the Guitardämmerung do with chords? Even just power chords. Or is it more of a single note kind of pedal. Either way all the clips sound good I'm just curious.

I was mostly playing power chords in my video if that helps...a few Barre chords in there too.
It just kinda does its own thing. But if you turn down your guitar volume, you can kinda skirt under the modulation threshold and just have a fuzztone. But that ain't really using the pedal, kinda avoiding it but just another level of it I guess.
It mangles everything about the same.

Yeah, I've been meaning to record some clips. I'll try to get to that.

I totally would if I didn't have shows coming up

is there anything specific you'd like to know? I can tell you off the bat that it's not as thick or fat (on it's own) as something like a drone commander. it excels at hiss/white noise/solar storm sounds and does some crazy inter modulated stuff with some settings. pretty shrill with the "tone" all the way up, pretty soft backed off. goes from dial up telephone sounds to horror film EEEEEEE with the "global starve" (I thought it was 'speed' this whole time). it's a beastly unit for what it is. currently on the look out for a fatter osc to pair with it for those deep, end of the world throbs.

Thank you! My interest in it is mostly just for fun, from their demo it seemed like you could coax some interesting mellow tones out of it, which is something that, say, the Skychord Parva doesn't like to do.

Thanks!
So, I guess we can agree, Guitardämmerung goes well with flanger?

Well, most everything does! Haha...wish I would have used a delay though...
That maxon gets noisy fast as hell with the jet vca Distortion (and it is env controlled). Need to get a switch for that (wait...I do have one).
The spectre sounded nice on that vid Chankgeez.

Honestly that was my favorite part of the video. It all sounded good though. So I need a flanger too.

Thanks, guys, yeah, I've been meaning to record some more clips with the Spectre too.
Can't say enough about how great that flanger is and I'm still just starting to scratch the surface.
Honestly though, almost anything envelope-y sounds fantastic into a flanger. Especially that Guitardämmerung.

I will still lobby for the Bassdämmerung though:
