I did do a Nano POG into a EHX Little Big Muff Pi (which tends to have a harsher dirt than a regular muff) and it sounded (to me) REALLY fat. This is my video demo of it.

Blue Box is super fun, even though it's really only "usable" on the last quarter of the tone knob which leads to some low end loss IME.

Love pumping fuzz into Pearl octave clone. It does 1 and 2 octave down plus one octave up and clean signal. Doesn't track the best but sounds rad. When I get around to it I'm building the new version that uses the Greenringer circuit for the octave up.

POG is not true bypass... POG doesn't like fuzz.
I like to use my Octron in front of a fuzz or OD.
Glitch a bit but sound so natural.

ok.. opinions on pedals I have that fit this thread...
Bluebox: Badass and with a rat lets you harness the power of eggnog
Buzzbox: imagen a bluebox… but evil
Robot Devil: it's evil and hard to control because it wants to control you and is loader them everything
Wolf Computer: great sounds and fun
OC-2: the classic, overly usable for sounds the fit well that don't get in the way.
OC-3: digital POS
Guyatone Mighty Micro Series MOm5: lots of fun and glitchy sounds
MXR Bass Octave: good tracking very thick sounding, doesn't always play nice with some dirt pedals
MXR Bass Octave Deluxe: it's like a cross between a OC-2 and original MXR bass octave… with a mid switch..
DOD octopus: glichy and fun
EHX multiplexer: under powered, glitchy, meh
Danelectro chili Dog: cheap copy of a OC-2
earthquaker devices organizer: digital… I almost really like it…
LAL Tone Axe: was brought up in here… never got any real octavey sounds out of it.. basically if you want a pocket sized version of a moog freqbox it is godly

MI Audio Pollyanna or whatever the fuck it's called. Not just an octave down, but two octaves down and an octave up, all blendable.

Sometimes I think I should give the Octasynth another try.

Buy yours back from me. Then I can get one with a black finish.
(Also, keep in mind, Cam's a much better guitarist than either you or I.)

The EHX Ring Thing?
polyphonic pitch + extra modulation, 9 presets + expression pedal....
