Go Randy! This guy is so loud and beefy, I don't know if I should even keep at home.. maybe better at the rehearsal space. But damn, love it. Paid around $100 for it, very clean, came well packed, cover included.

It has a Randall speaker in it and gives 60 watts or 100 w/ 4 ohm speaker. Would love to have an extra 15" for it...

Only thing I don't like is it hums a little, could that be a power filtering cap problem?

how are the tubes?

Oh man the tubes are so glassy.. hand blown. Even a mustache hair embedded in one.

edit: after reading up some, it seems others have had hum issues with similar amps, and changing filters caps did nothing, so I'm probably gonna stay away from that... Will still open it up to have a look though. The hum doesn't matter when playing loud anyway.

I love that RG-30. Has anyone seen an orange RG that's like 10 watts or so? Years back someone offered me something like that for $100 and I wish I had taken the deal.

While that is an awesome as fuck idea, he would very very rarely get to use it, and he still has a couple of RG-200s or 300s around. But who am I to quell the Randorange acquisition? Just consider his baby registry first, s'il vous plait. Hmmm, does Randall make onesies?

If there are orange striped nappies that kid is getting loaded up.

That 2-12 needs an unknown amount of work. Should prob skip it...as a gift at least.
