Basically, the eq knobs at zero is the closest to a mid boost you can get. Noon is pretty flat and full on doesn't remove any mids, but the added bass and treble do overpower the mids.
The only time I use the eq full blast is when I have the gain down a bit, as like a "clean dirty" kind of sound, or when I'm going for more extreme sounds with the gain cranked and lower bias settings.
I've found that the higher the gain goes, the closer to noon my eq stays. You'll also get better mids with the bias higher.

I used the Black Forest + Fuck combo.
I like the BF on either side, but ultimately I had to compromise the sound of one pedal to get both to sound good. I'm a stacker. I need to stack to get by. I'm selling the BF to fund a Mini. Fuck+Mini=tonal bliss.
