Now that Disney owns that stuff they are going to milk it like crazy (Star Wars). They've got another movie, special editions, etc and it wont go away...look what they did with the Pixar properties. Then they are going to use that "Disney Vault" against all the star wars fans...maybe call it carbonite or something haha.
They are going to milk it like crazy in every way they can (I even see a Kohler Death Star showerhead in the future). But I expect to see some star wars stuff.
AT-AT modular case....
Lightsaber handle hi to lo-z adapters
Alesis AirFX Death Star and R2D2 (and that new rolly one)
haha, it would be funny if they made any of that stuff

Fun fact: Luke Skywalker was a boutique pedal maker.
That's why he was going to Toshi Station to pick up some power converters.

Fuck me, is this a parody or something?
"And of course, it also has real simulated-woodgrain sides."
I literally cannot play piano, and I could make 100% of the music in this video fucking around on a MicroKorg. Drunk.
It's art, really.

Anyone else feel like when they emblazen almost everything in a supermarket with Star Wars iconography, then it just becomes a load of boring, worthless shite? The original Star Wars trilogy is my 3 favourite movies of all time, but I am completely unmoved by literally anything related outwith those 3 films. What worth does any of this shit have if it's all over everything. Lightsabers being used to sell Duracell batteries, Darth Vader on tins of Campbell's soup. True Genuine N3rDz dribbling and clapping their hands into dust at the mere, whispered mention of anything even remotely related to these movies. It's sad.
Chewbacca on a box of cereal AND a guitar pedal?!?! Disney knows me so well! When does the dreaming end!!!!! Fuck up.
*runs away crying*

Any of those companies would do it with any property they own...hell, probably see a Fast and The Furious Paul Walker Overdrive one day (there is your free idea of the day Keeley!). Diesel bass drive!

...this current Star Wars fever is something else and getting nutty (and Christmas being 3 months of the year including the inevitable "I didn't get what I wanted" spending season afterwards) which is why I brought it up.

There's also an R2D2 shower head, but a can of WD40 would be way cooler

I must be sick in the head, but every time I see that Timbre Wolf video I want it more and more.
Regarding NAMM, I'm a bit out of step with the times, has the age of glitter come and gone yet?

I'm just getting back into it too (gear, I guess) but it seems to be a bigger deal than it used to be. The bigger companies always announce some goofy not-well thought out stuff (Akai) and then scramble throughout the rest of the year to fix it (what it seems to me over the last year or two that I paid attention). A lot of the smaller companies hit well there in my opinion...
I guess part of it is watching everyone go crazy over the next J.Archer Overdrive and kind of miss some neat synths and stuff that are floating around...I guess the coverage and stupid product tie ins are what bother me (like those Fender displays of the super limited edition Jimi/Stevie strat in a glass case is our booth center...just look at it).
Now that I am going, I'm sure it will be a blast...really excited, just hate the coverage and the way some companies market I guess.

I want a better looper, mostly.
I also see Strymon trying to retaliate for the DD-500, Timeline 2 is definitely incoming sometime down the line.
I also wouldn't be surprised with an OP-2 from Teenage engineering.
Oh, and a shit ton of Ipad Pro music apps and gear that are going to leave me crying.
