Oh, right, I thought it had some kind of motion sensor in it so it would activate the light at a specific setting and keep it activated maybe.
It looks cool though and it could be handy on poorly lit stages.

If possible, yes, maybe for the MKII version, I mean the man is a wizard and he has lightning in his name so we can't totally weigh out the possibility.

Well that's quite the compliment. Thank you, sir.
I've included something in the patent that can do this actually! But alas, not until I have the mk-1 in production.
The pricing for retail is $24, but can suss any of you chaps at ILF rates.
I've made a single colour version with analog circuitry for $18. It lacks the shutdown timer though -really difficult to do without an extra $4 of components.. This was included in the colour version in case it was left on after a show, but it is kind of obvious unless the gig venue lights are turned on and are so blinding you don't notice

I used to work in a venue where that was the main tactic to getting people to leave. Aptly named the "fuck-off lights".

Clearly well deserved.

Ah, the old fuck-off lights, who doesn't know them.

Yeah it's been a real buzz. Been making these things in a cave for ages so good to see that mysteriousj and I were on a right track with the interface

Re: New Invention
The aftermath of NAMM has left a weird feeling in my gut.. I several of the chinese companies in attendance sent scouts around with cameras to take photos of everything. Not meaning to sound racist.. I did check their name tags to see where they were from. They'd storm in, snap a bunch of photos, ask multiple questions and storm out before I could get a chance to question them. I feel like a bit of a dork not even realising what was happening.. Was way too green to know that's not the norm.
Seems like I'll have to take this to crowd funding asap. Will have to include features from the patent that are on standby for development so it at least is differentiated from clones. Also one was stolen from my display. Hoping that's not something..
The pedals went well at least!

I think that IS the norm though, these days. Representatives from certain regions that are exempt from certain rules are free to be more brazen in their attempts at industrial espionage. I seem to recall reading about a group that was causing a ruckus last year.
Who knows what, if anything, comes from their antics. If nothing else, they are a motivator!

That flat-out sucks, and it's terrible that you should be feeling anything other than elated after what sounds like a HUGELY impressive debut.
Try not to worry about it. Innovation always breed imitation and all you can do is get the product out there when you're ready. Patents are great and all, but you've got to have the time, inclination and money to try to enforce them.
So yeah, concentrate on the positives - you guys killed it and know you're on a winner.

What HorseyBoy said though. It was amazing seeing all the stuff. Can't wait to see where you are going to go from here. Seriously an impressive debut at the biggest show! Word got around quick man!
Thanks again!

Re: New Invention
Cheers dudes! Good practice for next year! I'd seriously consider setting up behind that pole again if I could get a better cover and lighting :P Like a sandwich cut in half.
I've got my little sis writing up the plan for the next few months so I might be able to get it moving for release sooner rather than later. I'm quite prone to trying to do everything at the same. time. Not very productive..
We forgot to get a snap of three of us as the booth crew!
