I've still got videos/demos to watch but I might just wait until I have enough gear funds for something really nice rather than getting something too cheap now.
I also realized that my Little Big Muff, which sounds like ass by default on bass, can actually sound half decent with a bit of overdrive before it. Still, something that sounds good by default might be nice.

Also, how does the Smallsound Bigsound TAFM compare to what was mentioned here so far ? I'm planning on getting a Mini at some point in the future (Ill probably want a custom with top jacks and I'm not a fan of the default graphics so I guess it could take time :) ) so I might get that at the same time, to mitigate shipping costs.

And what about the MASF pedals (someone mentioned that eariler but I can't find many demos) ?
Are any of them good on bass ?

Biloma is a blast but it is biloma, if you know what I mean. People love the starry wisdom as it was made for bass. I still haven't heard a great bass demo of it yet. Lavender head is a vintage style cuzz but I haven't used it. Something like a buzzz or lal 46 would be way better on bass than the life convulsion [I just didn't care for its sound]. Sabbath is a wilder big muff and paranoid looks more guitar-centric with its eq[but not totally sure]. Epilepsy is a good osc fuzz but haven't used it on bass yet. Thornoscillator, I don't know [logic says epilepsy and thornoscillator will work better on guitar but that doesn't ,mean they would be bad on bass[.

A lot of people use tafm on bass here too.

I'm going to throw the lal 46 out there. Wife loves the out of it on bass, but it is very scooped in that mode [but it has both superfuzz voicings]. Buzzzz is similar with more option but ,maybe less extreme.

I liked the hotcakes on bass better than guitar, but it is a bit noisey and less 'tight' sounding to me [which was good and bad I guess...maybe I am not used to over drive]
