I've always wanted a '92 Gibson for my birth year. But my '06 was made on 4/20 so I'll settle for that.

I'd find a way to buy one at a grand, even, which would be the most I've ever spent for a guitar. Just sell me a black or white RD and I'll make my own Nameless Ghoul signature model.

My '11 melody maker sg is awesome, but I'm just judging it in the world of $300 guitars, which is what I paid for it.

^ I wont pay more than $400-$500 for a Gibson. Keeps me stuck in the more basic Gibson tier but I feel some of these guitars were/are better than their flashier counterparts.

It is really now about just the headstock, I want that "Open book" style thing Gibson can do but Epiphone doesn't have.
I would have gotten a Epi by now, but to me a LP doesn't look right without the open book headstock.

Keep an eye out for a cheap, older Special if you don't mind a stripped down model.
