You're going to laugh, but the fastest neck I have for pseudo-shred is a MIJ '69RI Mustang.
It came from the previous owner/GC with a Duncan bridge bucker (think a SH5 from memory), and the lowest action I've ever seen on a 'Stang.
It'd be up there with the late 70s USA Hamer I played when I first started for speed.
