For me it's mostly about price/cost. I can buy all the parts in one place from EchoFix, or I can spend 1/10 the cash and get the parts from multiple suppliers. Plus, I geek on the details of all that stuff, so buying it from experts kinda ruins the geeky fun. :lol:

I'll be getting a pinch roller from EchoFix, however. Can't find that shit anywhere, and the tooling costs to have them made in China don't really justify the existing market (which is pretty small). But just about everything else (bearings, switches, nuts, screws, felt, springs, and the like) can be found from various suppliers for relatively little money.

I will be pimping out mine by lasering up a custom tape assembly "top cover". Should be fun. :thumb:
