This is now a mega official thread. Latest update would be that UC is laying down the lows for the new album. Huzzah!

New one sounds good, I like it. Didn't feel it as a "narrative" or a concept album though, just a bunch of cool songs in random order.

Have you used the fuzz-e-cat on this one UC? Guys from paradox will be glad to hear that someone out there is actually using their stuff lol.

I will probably use it on the new album, which I will record the bass for soon. Me and my board are not on any recordings yet, only live.

I like how "Inner journey of the alien elder" starts out kind of contemplative and warbly, then gets real intense, then falls back into something like the first bit but maybe more off-kilter. Lots of cool sounds in there.

Thanks guys! Yeah, "Alien Elder" is one of the songs I'm most happy with. Good description of it. Japanese scales and excessive Goodbye 24 wankery. Good times. Live it ends with UC taking it into electro-funk mode instead of the variation on the intro.
