I know you don't like the Singing Tree but Singing Tree + Supercollider is/was my stringed instrument distortion pairing of choice.frigid midget wrote:Yeah, that's the plan, for a lack of a magical two-in-one pedal that's not bigger and doesn't cost more than a single pedlol.whiskey_face wrote:Just grab your favorite muff and overdrive and velcro them together.
Don't really have a favorite muff yet though. Leaning towards a supercollider or a musket atm. They both get nothing but great reviews, and shouldn't be impossible to find used for an okay price...

Again, if it's the size of a coffee table, I might as well go with two seperate peds

Re: Muff+OD two in one pedal?
I have a pedal my friend Chris made me that's a Rat into an IC Muff. It's a reasonable size (like a POG2 roughly) and didn't cost too terribly much to have built. I'm not sure how much smaller the it could be when I look at the guts though. Check my post in the pedalboard thread for reference.
Edit: just saw the last couple of posts. You might be better off with 2 separate pedals.

A talented builder could probably squeeze a decent od and Muff clone into a 1590BB. Any smaller and it would have to be SMD builds. I would just go 2 1590B sized pedals of your choosing and call it a day
