I've been watching every video I can get my eyeballs and earballs on, for the past couple of weeks. I feel confident in saying that CT5 probably STILL does more than I think it does!

I played with someone's in person and I'm still not even really sure. I just know those reverse sounds give me FEELINGS

I will make some videos to show the algorithms eventually. They are actually quite simple to understand when you can see what parameters are being adjusted. The results are sometimes very complex sounding though, particularly with the gb24 algorithm maybe. I think Jack Cohen calls this simplexity (or complicity?) but the idea of an emerging complexity from very simple rules, similar to a fractal etc. The template or seed is very simple to understand though.

I finally sat down and read through on how to switch between the quantization modes, and in doing so left the DIR knob pegged to a full octave up non-reversed with a short delay time while messing around on a guitar tuned D-standard. Decided to upload the result not in order to necessarily showcase the pedal's range but rather to illustrate one particular setting with a readymade use (vaguely imitating '80s world music instrumental cassettes )
Been going back and forth about getting one for the past month or two. Still can't decide. Especially since my band where I get to use all my weird sounds suddenly ceased to exist :/
Can't really justify being just a bedroom player at the moment..
Give me a push in either direction please!

I don't get why you'd flip just to get a q switch. The functionality is already in the current model, and after the firmware update it'll remember what you choose.

I'm silly excited. I was up thinking about it, through the night... LOL!
Quick question for Scott - have you (or anyone else) used the CT5 with a (toe-down) expression switch, instead of pedal? I'm thinking I may build one to see how it works.
If I did, any idea what pot value I'd need to use, in order for it to work?
