The more they sit there collecting dust, the more they amaze me when I get around to plugging them in again.

I like this answer. I have five or six delays, and I just saw a PS-2 for sale in Sweden, and it's decided I need a koma BD-101, so there is that. Ain't my fault there are so many cool delays out there

Good call! It is amazeballs, no doubt about that. It sort of gets lost in my mountain of delays, but whenever I dig it out and play with it, good times are had. The tone knob is so good on it. Takes fuzz like a fucking boss too!

Yeah, the Echorec is fucking amazing. Such great sounding repeats.

Zoom MS-60B really caught me off guard. I never paid much attention to any Zoom product, and when they released a single stomp multi-effect for $100 I definitely wasn't interested. I found myself craving something and thought it would be worth a shot on the used market. Holy fuck this pedal does so much for so little. It's not the best at any 1 thing, but it is the best at being 4 things at once. The synths and octaver are as great as any other multi or analog as far as tracking. The pitch shifting up is not good, but might be usable in a mix. The filters sound better and are way more usable than the Line6 units. The dirt is meh. The compressors are usable and as good or better than my MXR Bass Compressor. The amp and cab emulation is really good, though I have no use for these functions. The modulation is great in a mix, though feels like something is lacking when soloed. The delays and verbs are great solo or in a mix.

All in all for $90 used I'm amazed that I've used this nugget as much as I have already.

I should really get one of those zooms for the loop of my super ego.

Yeah me to. I'm on the brink of replacing my pulsar trem with an M5, but maybe I should look at them zooms instead. That would also save space for a bitquest/CT5/PS-2...

Probably not going to garner much excitement... but my Rangemaster has been the biggest surprise of all. I asked a friend to build me one because I had something very specific in mind (on a recording). By the time he built it and got it to me, it was pretty much past its point of usefulness. LOL
Or so I thought... It sat in my drawer for a few months until I finally pulled it out and brought it to practice. I had it out in front of my chain and was using it as a boost... it blew me away. I totally fell in love with the way it wrecked-shit with other pedals, and the way it EQ'd my signal on it's own. Crazy good.
Especially, when using it with my Jazzmaster, in the neck position. LOVE

It's been on my board the longest (save for my tuner) and I'd say it's worked it's way to becoming a huge part of my base sound. Good stuff, that...

Actually just mentioned this in doom room, but the MXR super badass. It is super thick, and has tons of gain if you need it. I like it boosted with a rat at the moment for some grungy fuzzy distortion. Active eq lets you dial in lots of mids for that stoner doom tone. It took me a long time to get over the fact that a $100 mxr dirt box sounds as good as a lot of 'boutique' stuff I've heard.

The SHO clone I have. I leave it on constantly. I'm seriously considering hardwiring the pedal without a footswitch. Just makes everything sound livelier. I keep it at about 2 o clock.

Mega Distortion is way underrated. You think it's gonna sound like another orange Boss pedal, but it's super versatile. And inexpensive.

Devi Ever Bit: I know that this gets plenty of love, but I use it to play bluesy solos and it rules for that like a super-stylized Tone Bender. Every note gets its own little celebration at attack and release.

Guyatone 2-Knob Mini-OD: The only screamer-type thing I've ever loved.

I am going to agree with the Rangemaster. It sounded good with fuzzes and stuff and made my "clean" tone tolerable on the Beta Lead. The boss dsd-2 surprised me in vesitility and sound. The LAL Thunder Boxx was way better in person than any description or demo I've seen/heard.
