This is full of pedals and has been my main storage soultion. But I've also got a wide swath of floor covered with pedals, and a couple racks i built are full now too. Plus my pool table is littered with pedals, there are literally pedals everywhere in part of my basementObulus wrote:Also UG, how do you actually store all those pedals? Do you have a clerk who runs your pedal storage and keeps an account of all your pedals?

I keep the boxes on the highest shelf in a cupboard. Don't mind not having immediate access to them. I have my pedals in my music corner in a crate.Doctor X wrote:i hate to even type it ....... but does that mean that you guys ......... throw away the boxes?
Some of my first pedals, yeah, but no. God no. I have a box in the basement with all of the boxes.Doctor X wrote:i hate to even type it ....... but does that mean that you guys ......... throw away the boxes?

Thanks Syl - it's pretty practical. It's just an Ikea Billy bookshelf, but I've turned each shelf into a pedalboard. I put handles on them, filed down the sides so that I could get them out (the doors don't sit flush), and put some brackets under where the shelves sit as they weren't as stable after I filed down the sides. Got each one wired up with a 1-spot daisy chain, so when i want to jam I just pull out a shelf and plug it into a 1-spot and the amp. It's fun making different boards, and it makes all of the collection useable.
