Me too. Our baby is being born soon.
My only purchases that I foresee are small things like cables, strings, etc.

I figured with the baby that I'd better make 2014 worth it gear wise for me because it would become glacial after he was here. And it has, because now I just want to buy him stuff instead of myself

- selling both my Bassman and Vox AC15 to fund the Verellen Spaldo ministack
- a Verellen big spider got thrown in as a nice bonus, so that was cool
- built my first pedal, a feedback looper
- got a free Walrus Audio descent last summer, that was cool too
- upgraded the bridge on my VI with a Staytrem one
- bought an Electro-Faustus EF104 used from a friend
- bought the Koma delay off of Phanta
Nice year overall

Next year I want to buy fewer pedals because I'm pretty damn happy with my current setup (maybe some more fuzzhugger though...

) and instead save up to get a new amp/cabs and buy an acoustic.

For me, turning the garage into a sound-proof music room was a great way to spend money. I definitely sold a lot of gear for my 3 panel Serge modular.
I also bought a Peavey tube bass head and 4-10 cab, A & H 24 channel mixer, rebought DSI Tempest, currently rebuying a Knas Ekdahl Polygamist.
A good year.
Oh yea dude. The MTD is going nowhere. I love this bass. Probably the best bass I've ever owned.
I will say one thing I'd like it another nice bass with some different tones. Like a Roscoe or Fbass or Dingwall or another MTD. lol
This year could be dangerous.

So, you've put in an order for a kid-sized EGC?
(Should be done about the time he's ready to start playing, right?)

Reminds me of how I got started. My parents were one of those paranoid parents when it came to people putting shit in Halloween candy so they bought me a shit child size electroacoustic to keep me busy... I was 6 at the time, so little did they know it would cause them more trouble than they set out to have.

That guitar sounded amazing through a big muff, feedback and squealing for days. 8DDD

so far this has been the best year for gear and music (meaning my own). I furthered my minimalist ethos and sold my 66 Hagstrom II and Ibanez Tele Custom, after realizing I only need my parts mustang. Tweaked that a bit over the year, including brass inserts for the tom, a nelson instruments super chief and a set of 60s 'smokers-teeth' grovers. Got to try out a lot of cool pedals - flipped some, kept some. Scored my first fuck, first dirge (wedge rat), ct5, ditto, etc. My most important gear purchase of the year hands down is the broken ibanez ddl I got of hbombgraphics - it's totally fucked up and mangles input like nothing else. I got it in the summer and it's been on everything I've done since then, to the point of being responsible for multiple songs. 2015 is probably going to be less busy gear wise - sooner or later I should get a refret for my mustang, as the neck is going to be 50 years old soon and they're pretty low.

I think the best pedal I got in 2014 are:
-Mid-Fi Overdrive
-Iron Ether Xero Deluxe
-Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude
All I wish for 2015 is an awesome flanger (FuzzHugger(fx) Flangerine) and a second guitare (with humbucker).

Had a pretty bumper crop of new gear this year with too many great pedals to make a list. Lots of clones to back up my vintage pedals, with creepyfingers getting the nod. Got the most mileage out of discovering mountainking electronics, lastgasp art laboratories, and seppuku fx.
