I've always said spending time with my mother is like lemon on a cut finger.

When life gives you scurvy, drink carribean rum and seek port where the whores are cheap?

Well, the way I see it, it's probably much harder to get a lay with scurvy gums.
Cheaper services, lower standards?

Although, that does work both ways.

So, here's a question for Chank: what did pirates do (if anything) for the clap? And did they to prevent crabs?

Lemons are starting to look like preventative medicine. At least if you don't have scurvy you can hit the upmarket joints where the frequency of disease is lower.

And yes, for the purposes of this thought experiment, we now live in the Elizabethan Carribean.

Maybe they bathed their junk in the juice of the lemons too. The acid might of killed the crabs and the cock rot. :idk:
They say a good cure for crabs is to put a few inches of sand at the bottom of the bath tub. Then fill the rest of the bath with salted water. Sit in the bath, then pull the plug. It confuses the crabs into thinking the tides have gone out. :yay:

Ooh, that's a good question.

I have no idea. I'm not well versed in piratical STDs.

:crabl:

Lookee what I just found though:

Interesting reading.

Thanks, Chank!

I'm predicting a lot of crab to be busted out in this thread.

And I just noticed that typing on my phone omitted the "what" in "And WHAT did they do to prevent crabs?"

Fucking technology making me look like some semi-literate dickbag.

I totally forgot about this thread.

Syl, you silly boy.

It's not really a Guild and this is one occasion where Halvorson is copying me.

I've got one of those. Mine's a two pickup model. Branded as an Orpheum. Made by Code/United.

Mine's similar to this one:

Here's a link to Halvorson's own blog post about her guitar:

Short scale and it does indeed sound very awesome.
